BBG is primarily focused on Telecom design and engineering and is licensed in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Illinois, and Tennessee. During the design process, our telecom designers routinely work with the LiDAR data collected for base mapping of roadway corridors. This allows them to make better, more accurate design decisions when compared to traditional telecom design workflows.
BBG is as involved or uninvolved as our clients require for a project. This ranges from LiDAR base mapping in support of a design project, all the way through design, permitting, and layout of a design.
Our clients require many types of deliverable formats and BBG has experience with most, if not all required formats. BBG utilizes TopoDOT® for the majority of our base mapping with exports available in DWG format. Additionally, BBG works with MicroStation, ARCGIS, Revit, and others, depending on the project requirements. Typically an example from a client is used initially to mimic the expected deliverable format. Telcom design is completed using Civil3D.
