BBGeomatics uses cutting-edge computer hardware and design software along with survey-grade mapping techniques to create accurate documents for OSP design and permitting. BBG designers are trained in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ESRI, Google Earth and other tools to meet any design specifications. The BBG team leadership has over 100 years of combined experience in program management, OSP design, and construction management.
We are working with a wide variety of companies ranging from small independent vendors to national corporations. With this knowledge, experience, and technology BBG has designed projects as small as service drops to the customer premises or as large as statewide networks for thousands of locations.
BBG uses multiple types of source data to confirm right of way or easements such as DOT plans, tax maps, deeds, as-builts, and as-lets to ensure the accuracy of the R/W, design, to ease the permitting process.
BBG’s experienced staff is our biggest differentiator, combined with a “Can Do” attitude. We are routinely asked to pivot project priorities based on our clients’ needs and we are able to do so quickly, primarily because of the people and organizational structure at BBG. All technical staff are cross-trained allowing us to re-direct resources as needed. This strong team combined with our LiDAR-based approach during the initial stages of design allows for extreme flexibility, speed of design, and consistency in quality. Our combined approach of LiDAR and boots on the ground design allows us to provide the best of both approaches for OSP design.
